Collegiate Employ-Net
The Bluffton University Career Development Center will offer two events in partnership with The Collegiate Employ-Net Consortium and 16 other universities and colleges in northwestern Ohio and southeastern Michigan. The first, held last fall, was a networking event for student members of the Collegiate Employ-Net Consortium. The second event, the Collegiate Employ-Net job fair on Friday, March 30, 2012, at Owens Community College, is open to all students.

OFIC
As a member of the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges, Bluffton University students and alumni are invited to attend the tenth annual OFIC CareerFest on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, in Columbus, Ohio, at the Aladdin Shrine Center. The purpose of CareerFest is to bring students from OFIC's 34 member institutions to meet with OFIC's donor companies and organizations in one central location to discuss internship and employment opportunities.

Interested students should view the OFIC website. Students who wish to attend should register by calling the CDC at (419) 358-3247, indicating whether or not transportation is needed.

Education Expo
Held each spring, Education Expo is an event sponsored by a consortium of seven institutions in Ohio. Local school systems and systems from across the country will participate in this event April 18, 2012, at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio to recruit teacher education candidates from the consortium schools.

Online student scheduling runs from March 14-18. A registration kick-off event will be held early spring.

Bluffton University Camp Fair
Students and employers can benefit from this event, held in collaboration with four other universities in Ohio for a week of camp recruitment. Our annual event will be held Monday, Feb. 6- Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, from 11-2 in Marbeck Center. For questions concerning the camp fair, or if you are a recruiter and would like to attend, please contact the student life office at (419) 358-3247 or email the career center at career@bluffton.edu.

Tony Mass '07 Tony Mass '07 I attended the OFIC career fair in Columbus in February 2007 with the CDC, and one of the contacts I made at Marathon actually contacted me in October to interview for a position. He remembered me from the job fair! I interviewed and was hired.
