Graphic artists use their skills and ideas in commercial interests, as in advertising and design, or in working for corporations, retail stores, or publishing companies. Graphic art is used in creating packaging, promotional displays, and sales brochures, visual designs for corporate reports and literature, and distinctive logos for products or companies. Graphic designers are often responsible for the layout and design of magazines, newspapers and journals, as well as graphics for television and the Internet.
