The clothing industry is one in which you can combine a business interest with a flair for creativity. Opportunities are available in fashion merchandising, fashion coordination, apparel design and manufacturing, interior design, fashion writing and theatrical costuming. Many entry-level positions are in retail sales or assistant buying, which means that most employment opportunities will be available in metropolitan areas that have large department stores or shopping malls.
