ADA, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's tennis team traveled to Ohio Northern University on Wednesday, September 13, 2006. The Bluffton-ONU matchup marked the first contest on the newly lighted courts at the ONU campus. The perennial-power Polar Bears dispatched the Beavers by a final score of 8-1, with the lone Bluffton victory by Courtney Hodson (Washington Court House/Washington Sr.) at no. 3 singles.
The Beavers return to action on Saturday, September 16, when they travel to Franklin for an HCAC tri-match with the Grizzlies and Ravens of Anderson. The first match is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
