Women’s Tennis play Earlham and go to DePauw on week

The Bluffton University Women’s Tennis team played twice on the week. They hosted Earlham on Wednesday and traveled to the DePauw Fall Invitational for the weekend. Narrowly losing on Wednesday the women are improving as the season progresses, taking on a tough field this weekend the team came away with the loss.
Freshman Chelsey Person (Bellefontaine/Bellefontaine) won two matches against Earlham and only lost one match at the DePauw Invitational (non-scoring meet). Persons along with Lisa Cherry (Waterville/Anthony Wayne) improved their doubles record by winning the number three match on Wednesday. Sophomore Jenna Liechty (
The Beavers will be back in action on Tuesday as they host HCAC opponent Defiance, start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
