BLUFFTON, OHIO – It came down to the last set of last game of last match in order to decide the winner of today’s contest between Bluffton (1-2) and Earlham with Bluffton coming out on the wrong end as they lost the contest 5-4.
Freshman Chelsey Person (Bellefontaine/Bellefontaine) records two victories in today’s contest as she won her No. 5 singles match in strait sets too improve her singles record to 3-0, she also won her No. 3 doubles match with partner, sophomore Lisa Cherry (Waterville/Anthony Wayne). Sophomore Jenna Liechty ( Goshen, Ind /Bethany Christian) improves her record to 2-1 as she won her No. 1 singles match in three sets. Sophomore Stephanie Keefe (Tiffin/Calvert) made easy work of her opponent in her No. 4 match, by winning in two strait sets.
The lady Beavers will be in action on Saturday and Sunday as they travel to the Depauw Fall Invitational.
