Saccomen posts 29 saves to tie season best at goal

– The Bluffton College women’s soccer team (1-12, 0-5 HCAC) was defeated by conference opponent Manchester 4-0 on Tuesday afternoon. The day marked the last home contest for the Beavers in the 2003 campaign.

Goshen, Ind./Bethany Christian) posted one shot each for Bluffton. Goalkeeper Rochelle Saccomen (Ashland/Ashland) tied her season high saves total at goal with 29 for the contest.

   The Beavers will be back in action for their last contest of the regular season this Saturday when they travel to
Franklin for a men’s and women’s doubleheader. The women’s game is scheduled for noon with the men’s at 2 p.m.
