Kristin Agauas

Kristin Agauas has declared her intent to play softball at Bluffton University for the upcoming school year. Kristin, a pitcher from Andover High School in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., believes that a small school like Bluffton can not only provide her the personal assistance she needs and wants in the classroom, but it will also help her develop and grow as a player on the softball diamond. When asked about how Kristin will contribute to the Bluffton University softball program this spring, Coach Bruder stated, “Kristin is one of those quiet players, but she will lead by example both on the mound as well as in the dugout. She will strengthen the current pitching staff with her speed, movement and control of the softball.”

Lauren Rombkowski

Lauren Rombkowski has committed to Bluffton University and the Bluffton softball program for the 2008-09 school year. She hopes to study dietetics while at Bluffton and grow both in her faith as well as athletically. Lauren is a diverse player which will help strengthen the current softball program both on the mound as well as at the plate. Coach Bruder stated, “Lauren will bring to this team great spirit and a fabulous sense of humor. She is an extremely hard working individual that is willing to play anywhere on the field in order to help this team become better each day.”

Meagan Price

Meagan Price has chosen to attend and play softball at Bluffton University this fall. Meagan will be a pre-med student who has chosen Bluffton because she feels it will best prepare her for her future endeavors. She also anticipates becoming both emotionally and physically stronger due to her hard work and commitment she is willing to put in to her future softball team. Coach Bruder quipped, “Meagan’s passion for the game and defensive skills behind the plate will be a great asset to this team now, and for the future of this program. She is an energetic young woman who has a very bright future and career ahead of her here at Bluffton University both on as well as off the field.”

Jessica McDonald

Jessica McDonald has made Bluffton University her next stop to play softball and for her academic career. Jessica comes to Bluffton University from Mechanicsburg, Ohio, and plans to major in nutrition this upcoming fall. She believes that Bluffton will provide her the opportunities to learn more in the classroom and on the softball field, meet new people and have an overall great experience. “Jessica is a solid player both behind the dish as well as at the plate. The enthusiasm and energy she brings to the game will quickly filter throughout this young softball team,” Coach Bruder commented.

Chelsie Osborne

Chelsie Osborne will be competing at the next level for Bluffton University both scholastically and athletically this fall. Chelsie will graduate from Waverly High School this May and she plans on studying sport management here at Bluffton. She hopes to learn more about the game from the returning players and meet new people on campus and throughout the local community. “I believe Chelsie will be an immediate impact player for us here next year and in years to come,” Coach Bruder said. “She is a constant communicator both on and off the playing field, which this team needs immensely.”

Emily Manahan

Emily Manahan has declared her intent to attend Bluffton University and play softball here for the Beavers. Emily comes to Bluffton from Bishop Watterson High School and she chose to attend Bluffton because of its competitive nature and its commitment to the student to grow not only in the classroom but also a person. She believes that she will bring a solid glove and strong stick to the already powerful hitting softball team. “Emily’s a great fit for Bluffton in all facets of her being, both as a person and player,” stated Coach Bruder. “She is a sound athlete who demonstrates great leadership at the corners of the infield as well as in the dugout.”

Danielle Shortsle

Danielle Shortsle has committed to Bluffton University and the softball program for the upcoming school year. Danielle will graduate from Alma High School on June 1 and is anticipating a major in elementary education at Bluffton this fall. She believes that although she will be a freshman, she can be a team leader for the Beavers, always maintaining a positive attitude both on the field as well as outside the lines. Coach Bruder is excited Danielle has decided to attend Bluffton and stated, “Danielle is a fundamentally developed softball player who will bring a solid glove to the corner positions as well as a sound knowledge of the game.”

Allison Radomski

Allison Radomski has made Bluffton University her next stop to both further her education as well as to play softball for the Beavers. Allie will graduate from Cincinnati Christian High School on June 1 and she anticipates majoring in special education and elementary education at Bluffton this fall. Allison believes that Bluffton will prepare her for the inside of the classroom as a teacher when she graduates as well as help her grow athletically on the ball diamond. Coach Bruder is confident that, “Allison will add speed to this softball program, a key component we currently lack at this point. With her speed, she will improve the outfield as well as the batting order.”

Katie Muhlenkamp

Katie Muhlenkamp has chosen to attend and play softball for Bluffton University this fall. Soon to be a graduate of Coldwater High School, she plans on majoring in both mathematics and education at Bluffton. Katie chose to attend Bluffton quite some time ago because she firmly believes this is the place that will allow her to help more people, meet new people and grow to be a better person overall. As far as her softball skills and ability, Coach Bruder believes that “Katie can help strengthen our defense because she is such a diverse player. Katie’s positive attitude and willingness to help this team in any fashion is exciting from a coaching standpoint.”

Tabatha Tousely

Tabatha Tousely has selected Bluffton University to pursue a higher education as well as the next level of softball for the 2008-09 school year. Tabatha will graduate from Ottawa-Glandorf High School June 1 and is already anxious to start a new chapter of her life in the Bluffton community. “Tabatha is an energetic young woman who is willing to give her all for our softball program this fall season and spring season ahead. Her desire to succeed at all times in any position on the field and in the classroom will make her, above all, a great role model to those around her on the Bluffton campus.”

Christiana Sindelar

Christiana Sindelar will be competing in both varsity volleyball and softball at Bluffton University during the 2008-09 school year. She has expressed great interest in being a two-sport athlete for the Beavers and is excited about the opportunities ahead of her in both programs. “Christiana’s ability to be a two-sport athlete at this level shows her versatility. However, what is more admirable is the dedication, commitment and hard work she is willing to devote to both programs while never losing sight of her academic endeavors,” stated Coach Bruder.
