BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Bluffton University softball team will hold two skill clinics on Jan. 8 and Feb. 26, 2005. The clinics are for softball players in grades eight through twelve and will be held on the Bluffton University campus in Founders Hall gymnasium.
During this time Bluffton coaches and players will be on hand for individual instruction. The goal of these clinics is to help junior high and high school softball players improve their defensive and offensive fundamentals.
Included in the clinic will be skill sessions as well as a pizza lunch with the Beavers softball players. The campers $35 registration fee will cover individual instruction from coaches and Bluffton players, along with a Beaver softball t-shirt, a drills workbook and lunch. Campers should bring indoor shoes, glove, bat (Bluffton will provide bats and helmets for those campers without them) and a water bottle. Catchers should bring their own catching gear.
Deadline for the January clinic is Dec. 17 and Feb. 3, 2005 for the February clinic.
