KISSIMMEE, FL. – The Bluffton College softball team (5-1) picked up a pair of wins in the Rebel Spring Games on Wednesday. The Beavers defeated Eastern 5-0 and Concordia 8-6.

Sarah Betts pitched a shutout victory in the first game by posting nine strikeouts on the mound. In the second game against Concordia, Betts picked up the pitching victory again. No Allison Lange rounds third headed for homeextra base hits were recorded for the day.

“It’s really good for Betts to get another strikeout,” head coach Holly Spann said. “We scored early in the second game which was good and played solid defense today.”

Bluffton will be back in action on Thursday in their final day of the Rebel Spring Games. The Beavers play Wartburg at 12:30 pm and the Mil. School of Engineering at 4:10 pm.
