BC vs. Hanover

   BLUFFTON, OHIO – Bluffton College opened up their men’s and women’s conference schedule today by hosting rival Hanover College for a soccer doubleheader at the BC soccer field.

 

   The women’s team (1-7, 0-1 HCAC) was defeated 7-0 by the Panthers. Goalkeeper Rochelle Saccomen (Ashland/Ashland) posted 29 saves for the match. Heather Brooke (Defiance/Defiance) had two shots on the day for the Beavers. Bluffton will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to cross-state/HCAC rival Defiance. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.

   The men’s team (4-6, 0-1 HCAC) was defeated 3-0 by Hanover. Justin Rohrer (Millersburg/West Holmes) had five shots on the day for BC. Goalie Ryan Thomas (Jamestown/Greeneview) had seven saves at goal. The Beavers will play on Wednesday when they travel to Manchester for another HCAC contest. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
