Jerry and Jean Niemeyer

Jerome A. "Jerry" Niemeyer, 65, and his wife Jean E. Niemeyer, 61, of Columbus Grove, Ohio, both died at 5:38 a.m. March 2, 2007 in Atlanta.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Columbus Grove, the Rev. Ron Warnimont officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, with military rites. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today (Monday, March 5) and Tuesday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. A Knights of Columbus rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. today, and an Altar Rosary CLC service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The couple died at 5:38 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2007, in a bus accident in Atlanta.

Survivors include two sons, David L. and Gregory T., both of Hilliard; one daughter, Mrs. Jason (Julie A.) Potts, Dublin. Jerry has five brothers, Ronald and Alan, both of Ottoville, Charles of Wapakoneta, Tim of Castalia; and Paul of Kalida; and seven sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Norma) Turk, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Mrs. Bernard (Mary Jane) Averesch, Kalida; Mrs. Eugene (Ruth) Hoorman, Mrs. Jerold (Janice) Eickholt and Mrs. Daniel (Marcia) Eickholt, all of Ottoville; and Mrs. Jerald (Mary Jo) Miller, Delphos; and Mrs. Mark (Rose) Krietemeyer, Columbus. Jean is survived by two brothers, Paul Best, Columbus Grove; and George Best, Wattsonville, Calif.; and a sister, Colleen Best, Pandora.
