Orr is closing in on the Bluffton College men’s shot put record of 50 feet held by 1997 BC graduate Mike Grote (Vermillion H.S.). Orr’s 49-7 effort is the best shot put performance at BC since Grote’s 50-0 school record toss in 1996.
Orr will be traveling to Chicago from May 9-19 for a cross-cultural trip, during which time the list of invitees to the national meet will be announced. The national meet is scheduled for the end of May.
