2009 Men's Tennis Coach

Blake Kindle is entering his seventh season as head coach of the Bluffton men’s tennis team. Kindle led the Beavers to a second place finish in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament in 2004, the team's best finish in school history. The 2008 squad earned a berth into the HCAC Championships where the Beavers fell to eventual champion Transylvania University which has won six consecutive titles.

A graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School, Kindle earned a bachelor of science in physical education from Ohio State University in 1987. He performed graduate work at Ohio University and the University of Rio Grande before graduating in 2002 from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Ala., with a masters of sports science.

Kindle is also the assistant coach for the Bluffton men’s basketball team which has played in the Heartland Conference semi-finals three of the last four seasons. He resides in Ada with his wife, Lori, and sons, Kort, 15, and Konner, 13.
