Beavers finish sixth in Heartland Conference Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Bluffton University men's tennis team placed sixth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament on April 15 and 16.
Leading the way for the Beavers was freshman Tim Kauffman (Lilburn, Ga./Parkview) who placed fourth at the No. 4 singles position 6-0, 6-1. In No. 5 singles freshman Eric Martin (Berne, Ind./South Adams) finished fourth by a score of 6-2, 6-4.
Kauffman and freshman Blake Babcock (Findlay/Findlay) finished fourth at the No. 2 doubles postion by a score of 6-3, 7-5. Junior Pete Martin (Berne, Ind./South Adams and Jordan Zickafoose (Lima/Lima Senior) earned a seventh place finish in No. 1 doubles 6-0, 6-2.
