Bluffton defeats Adrian College 8-1

BLUFFTON, Ohio The Bluffton University mens tennis (1-0) team posted a decisive victory over Adrian College 8-1.
The Beavers swept all three of the doubles matches. Junior Pete Martin (Berne, Ind./South Adams) and freshman Jordan Zickafoose (Lima/Lima Senior) picked up a win at No. 1 doubles by a score of 8-4.
In the No. 1 singles position Zickafoose posted a victory with a score of 6-1, 6-2. Freshman Blake Babcock (Findlay/Findlay) won the No. 3 singles position by a score of 6-4, 6-1. The Beavers swept the No. 4 through No. 6 singles position for the 8-1 win.
Bluffton will be back in action at Transylvania on March 26. The team will play Transylvania and Hanover in a three-way conference matchup.
