HCAC Championship results

The Bluffton College men’s tennis team competed in the Heartland Conference tournament in Indianapolis, Ind. last weekend.  The team finished a strong season by placing second in the tournament, behind undefeated Transylvania University.

The Beavers had three players selected as all-conference performers.  Seniors Owen Beck (Archbold/Archbold), Brad Boyles (Berne, Ind/South Adams), and Kyle Sprunger (Berne, Ind/South Adams) all received the all-conference honor.  All three finished in second place in their respective singles positions in the HCAC tournament.  Boyles and Sprunger also finished in second place in the tournament at the #2 doubles position.  Their record at the #2 doubles position ended up being 13-2 for the season.  The second place finish in the Heartland Conference tournament is the team's best finish in school history.
