The Bluffton College men's tennis team battled Hanover College this Saturday in Cincinnati but came up just a bit short in a 5-4 loss. The loss puts BC at 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Bluffton got two victories in singles play as junior Dan Wott (Fremont/Clyde H.S.) won at #3 singles (6-1, 6-1) and junior Kyle Sprunger (Berne, Ind./South Adams H.S.) won at #4 singles (6-2, 6-2).
The Beavers also got two victories in doubles play as Wott and junior Owen Beck (Archbold) won at #1 doubles (8-4), while senior Dave Barnes (Groveport/Tree of Life Christian H.S.) and freshman Pete Martin (Berne, Ind./South Adams H.S.) won at #3 doubles (8-6).

#3 - Pete Martin and Barnes (BC) defeated Rollins and Mike Cranfill (HC) 8-6
