The Bluffton College men’s tennis squad defeated Adrian College 8-1 on Thursday, April 4th at Adrian.
Five Bluffton individuals notched victories as Owen Beck (Archbold/Archbold) won at #1 singles (7-5, 6-1), Brad Boyles (Berne, Ind./South Adams) won at #2 singles (6-3,6-2), Dan Wott (Fremont/Clyde) won at #3 singles (6-2, 6-3), Kyle Sprunger (Berne, Ind./South Adams) won at #4 singles (6-2, 6-2), and Garrett Skare (Huber Heights/Wayne) won at #5 singles (2-6, 6-1, 6-0).
Bluffton also notched three wins in doubles play. Dan Wott and Owen Beck won at #1 doubles (6-4, 6-4), Brad Boyles and Kyle Sprunger won at #2 doubles (6-1, 6-2), and Garrett Skare and Genti Basha won at #3 doubles by forfeit.
Bluffton improves to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Association. Bluffton travels to Mount St. Joseph Saturday, April 6 for HCAC play against Mount St. Joseph and Hanover.
