The Bluffton College men’s tennis team was victorious in their first tennis match of the season last Thursday afternoon as the Beavers traveled to Tiffin and won 9-0.
All six Bluffton individuals captured victories as Owen Beck (Archbold) won at #1 singles (8-3), Brad Boyles (Berne,Ind./South Adams) won at #2 singles (8-3), Dan Wott (Fremont/Clyde) won at #3 singles (8-2), Kyle Sprunger (Berne, Ind./South Adams) won at #4 singles (8-3), David Barnes (Groveport/Tree of Life) won at #5 singles (8-5) and Garrett Skare (Huber Heights/Wayne) won at #6 singles (8-4)
All three Bluffton doubles tandems won as well. Beck and Wott were winners at #1 doubles (8-2), Boyles and Sprunger won at #2 doubles (8-1), and Barnes and Genti Basha (Orrville/Central Christian) won at #3 doubles (8-5).
Bluffton starts the season at 1-0.
