BLUFFTON, Ohio – Freshman Tyler Chapman (Shreve/Triway) has been named men’s soccer player-of-the-week for the Heartland Conference.
Chapman knocked in the game-winning goal against Hanover College last Saturday where the Beavers won 1-0. The victory was Bluffton’s first conference win since the 2002 season and the first victory over Hanover since joining the Heartland Conference in 1998. The goal was Chapman’s second of the year.
Bluffton University will be at home Wednesday vs. HCAC opponent Manchester. Start time for the contest is scheduled for 4 p.m.
