BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Bluffton University men’s soccer team (3-11, 1-4 HCAC) fell to Transylvania University (11-1-2, 3-0-1 HCAC) 3-0 on Saturday.
The Beavers played hard today, but came up short against a very tough Transylvania team. Head coach Steve Smucker said, “We are playing very nice soccer right now and shouldn’t hang our heads with our effort. We did some good things at times today.”
Bluffton out shot Transylvania 13 shots to 10, but couldn’t seem to find the back of the net. Senior Caspar Agyeman-Duah (Fairfield, Ohio) led the Beavers with five shots.
The Beavers will be back in action Tuesday as they travel to Defiance. The game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
