The Beavers started off the week at Kettering Country Club in Defiance on Monday, and took home first place out of five teams. Junior Rick Pagniano (Wooster/Northwestern) had the low score for Bluffton with a round of 76. Senior Trevor Thomas (Jamestown/Greeneview) also shot well and finished with a 78 for the day.
On Thursday the team traveled to Sienna Heights to take aim at Coldwater Country Club. The Beavers finished the day tied for first (out of seven teams) to take home their second consecutive win. Sophomore Scott Bergman (Elmore/Woodmore) led the way for Bluffton with a 75. Freshman Matt Keeler (Bluffton/Bluffton) chipped in a 78 to help the Beavers to victory.
On Friday the Beavers played at Hawthorne Counrty Club against eight other teams. The team finished second place by tying the best round in school history.
