Golf team wins at Sienna Hts

Men's golf team wins second in a row

The Bluffton College men's golf team tied for first place today out of seven teams at Sienna Heights University.  The invitational was played at Coldwater Country Club.  Bluffton shot a 312 to tie Cornerstone University for the victory.  The win gives Bluffton their second in a row after a decisive victory on Monday against five other teams.

Sophomore Scott Bergman (Elmore/Woodmore) paced the Beavers with a round of 75.  Freshman Matt Keeler (Bluffton/Bluffton) tied his best round of the season with a 78.  Junior Rick Pagniano (Wooster/Northwestern) also shot well with a 79 for the day.  Sophomore Nick Schreck (Galion/Galion) rounded out the scoring for Bluffton with an 80.

Bluffton will play again tomorrow when they travel to Hawthorne Country Club at Ohio State-Lima.
