A four year letter winner in football and baseball, a two year letter winner in basketball and a one year letter winner in track, Tom Reichenbach quarterbacked the 1956 and 1957 football teams to two Mid-Ohio League championships. He earned two All-Mid Ohio League selections in football. Reichenbach earned varsity letters in football, basketball, baseball and track as a freshman.
He led the 1956 football team to an outstanding season, for which the team is already included in the Bluffton Hall of Fame. His most memorable Bluffton sports moment was defeating Findlay 34-13 in 1956 at Donnell stadium in front of 6,500 fans.
During his time at Bluffton, Tom was also very involved in choir. He sang and performed in many plays during his four years. These productions included solo work and group singing. During his junior and senior years he sang in an octet which preformed at many local events in the Bluffton area.
Reichenbach now resides with his family in Maryland. He is employed as a regional manager for Lincoln National Life. Tom also holds a position as the general manger for the employee benefit division of the Washington D.C. office. Reichenbach is an active member and officer of the area Lions Club chapter. A faithful church and choir member of a United Methodist Church in Maryland, he is the chair person of the finance committee.
Reichenbach and his wife Helen have four grown children, Tammy, Lisa, Michelle and Jodi.
