Terence Peebles was recently hired by Coach Veidt and takes over as Co-Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach for the Beavers in 2013. He will share play-calling duties with Wide Receivers Coach Richard Ciccone who is in his second year at Bluffton.
He comes to Bluffton after five years as the Offensive Coordinator at Carthage College where he engineered an offense that broke 50 school records under his leadership. From 2008-10 Carthage passed the ball for a whopping 10,000 yards (over 330 per game). While at Carthage, Peebles designed personalized recruiting presentations using IPad's and wrote a virtual playbook that used video game technology for computer simulated installation.
Prior to his time at Carthage, Peebles also served as the Offensive Coordinator at his alma mater (Hanover), Waynesburg and Benedictine. Hanover won the Heartland Conference championship and qualified for the 2003 NCAA Division III National Playoffs. He mentored a team that led the nation in season passing yards and also served as the head men's tennis coach while at Hanover. Peebles also has experience with Western Kentucky, DePauw and he was the assistant equipment manager for the Indianapolis Colts in 1995.
Following an outstanding collegiate career at Hanover where he was a two-time All-American quarterback as well as the 1995 Don Hanson's Football Gazette NCAA Division III National Player of the Year, Peebles played professional football in the Canadian Football League, in Germany and in Italy. Peebles holds a Bachelor of arts in physical education from Hanover and a Masters of education from Waynesburg College.
