Jonathan Cooley is beginning is second year as an assistant coach with the Bluffton University football team. He is serving as the safeties coach and equipment manager.
Cooley graduated from John Carroll University with a finance degree in 2011. He was a four-year letter winner and finished 10th all-time in career breakups at JCU. Cooley was a four-year Unity Council Member while playing for the Blue Streaks.
Most recently, Cooley coached defensive backs for Millikin University in 2011. He was the assistant special teams coach at Millikin after volunteering as a student assistant at his alma mater.
Cooley has also volunteered at the Tom Arth Cleveland Passing Academy Camp and The Next Level Football Camp.
He will pursue his masters degree while living in Bluffton, Ohio.
