2002 Captains and Council

Just prior to the start of the 2002 season, the Bluffton College football team elected three seniors to represent them as captains this year. In addition, each class and the managers and trainers selected representatives to join the captains in forming the team council.

Captains this season are senior quarterback Brad Moore, senior defensive back Cam Staley and senior defensive lineman Brian Steiner. The junior class representative is wide receiver Jimmy Dwenger and the sophomore class representative is sophomore fullback Andy Tabler. Representing the freshman is defensive back Lucas Traught, while senior Brandie Cornell represents the managers and trainers.

The team council meets weekly with head coach Carlin Carpenter to discuss relevant issues within the team and to have a chance to suggest ideas, voice concerns and give updates on various topics.
