2001 preseason underway as 95 players check in for camp

The 2001 football season at Bluffton College began on a high note Sunday afternoon as 95 players checked in for the start of two-a-days.
Head Coach Carlin Carpenter and his staff held a team meeting Sunday evening and evaluated the team Monday morning in speed and strength tests. The players will go through an endurance test Monday afternoon before having the night off. Unit meetings will begin Tuesday morning, followed by the beginning of two-a-day practices that afternoon.
