Augsburg hands Beavers 60-52 defeat in Las Vegas

Bluffton College outscored Augsburg (Minnesota) 32-28 in the second half but it wasn't enough as the Beavers fell 60-52 on day-two of the Adidas Desert Shootout in Las Vegas. Bluffton concludes their trip out west with a 1-1 record and now stands at 4-4 on the season. BC will return to action on Thursday, December 28 at home against Wilmington College at 7:30 p.m. in Founders Hall.
Bluffton outshot Augsburg in the final game statistics, but in the first half Augsburg shot 37% compared to just 35% as the Beavers fell behind 32-20 at the intermission.
Liz Bock led Bluffton with 11 points, while Jen Bear scored nine and Elizabeth Snavely and Bree Wood chipped in eight points each. Snavely collected a team-high nine rebounds.
