BC announces partnership with TEAMLINE sports

August 26, 2000

Can't make it to a Bluffton College football game? No problem! Now you can hear every Beaver football game live over the phone thanks to a partnership signed last week with TEAMLINE Sports in conjuntion with 107.1 WDOH radio.

For over a decade, WDOH radio (107.1 FM, Delphos, OH) has covered each BC football game, both at home and on the road, and now you can hear their broadcasts from anywhere in the world thanks to TEAMLINE, which is operated by TRZ Sports Services out of Kent, Ohio.

By calling TEAMLINE (1-800-846-4700) before or during the game, you can enter in Bluffton's four digit code (3241) and hear what is going out on the air through WDOH's home station. Play by play man Andy Koppert along with color analysts Vance Nofziger, Herb Purton and Mike Richards will once again have the call for each game.

Have your credit card ready when you call, you'll be asked for a card number for billing the cost of the call. Bluffton receives a percentage of all revenue generated through this service, which costs anywhere between 15 cents and 50 cents per minute.

All NFL teams and over 300 college football teams are members of TEAMLINE. Bluffton College is the 11th college in Ohio to join, and just the fourth NCAA Division III school (Mount Union, Wittenberg and Wooster are the others). This service now allows BC fans the same opportunity that such schools as Ohio State, Bowling Green and Cincinnati make available to their fans.
