Head Coach Randy Keeler
In his seventh season at the helm of the BC men's soccer program, Randy Keeler has produced a 1998 Beaver squad that is one of the largest soccer teams in school history. His 27 career collegiate wins as a head coach are second on the all-time wins list, just three shy of Jim Amstutz's BC-leading 30.
Keeler is a 1980 graduate of Bluffton College and was a four-year soccer letter winner for the Beavers. A native of Souderton, Pa., he also serves at Bluffton as the campus pastor. Keeler earned his master of divinity degree from Eastern Mennonite Seminary and spent two years in Fresno, Calif. As coordinator of an inner-city boys' club. He has also served in ministries with the Franconia Mennonite Conference, the Eastern District Conference and served on the Commission of Education, General Conference Mennonite Church.
Keeler's 9-8 1993 team tied the BC record for wins and finished second in the Association for Mideast Colleges.
Assistant Coach Andy Kirtland
In his second year as an assistant coach at BC, Andy Kirtland has brought experience and knowledge to the soccer program. A 1993 Bluffton graduate, he was a four-year starter for the Beavers and earned the Defensive MVP Award his junior season. Kirtland also played one summer in Europe on a U.S. All-Star team, gaining international experience.
Kirtland currently is a special education teacher at Glenwood Middle School in Findlay, Ohio.
