Home opener postponed, field dedication to take place in April It's been said that if you don't like the weather in Ohio in March, just wait a minute and it will change. Rather than continue to try to schedule the field dedication and first pitch by Tim Berta to coincide with the home opener, the decision has been made to hold this event in April when, theoretically, the weather is more predictable. The dedication is now set for Friday, April 18, just prior to the 4 p.m. home baseball game vs. Franklin College. Plans remain in place for Tim Berta to throw out the first pitch that day in the newly dedicated Memorial Field. An updated schedule of events for media will be posted at a later date. |
