Supporting future generations through endowment

Gifts to endowment sustain Bluffton’s programs for future generations. Gifts of any size may be contributed to the general endowment to support students, faculty and operations.

• Students: In recent years alumni and friends have established more than 340 named endowed scholarships that provide essential support through the financial aid program.
• Faculty: A healthy endowment helps to recruit and retain outstanding faculty by increasing support for research and professional growth that also enriches the educational program. An endowed chair in theatre and three new faculty fellowships are already part of the campaign's successes.
• Operations: Each year a percentage of endowment earnings provide essential support for operations. As Bluffton does for all new facilities, we are seeking an increase in endowment to operate the new Health and Fitness Education Center which has been carefully planned to minimize increased costs.
