The following is a list of past PALS programming activities. We have only listed a brief description of each event, so if you are interested in learning more, please let us know!!


AIDS Awareness Red Ribbon Day -- red ribbons in campus mail, panel discussion, skits and video about AIDS Awareness

Did You Know Day -- selected students silent for a day to signify people killed in alcohol related car accidents

Diversity Panel -- campus officials, students, and professors talk about diversity

Drinking Game -- using alcohol trivia and fruit punch to show how alcohol can affect judgement

Eating Disorders Emphasis Days -- self-esteem, warning signs, and stereotypes

Host - a - Folk -- local nursing home residents visit campus for lunch and a class with a student or two

Jello Wrestling

Not Here! -- BC's version of Bacchus and Gamma's fall 1998 campaign!  A video and information session about binge drinking on college campuses.

Party on the Lawn -- live music, food, and fun on the lawn between three of our dorms on a Friday night

Rock-a-Thon --  Teams rocking in donated rocking chairs to raise money for the local elementary school's drug and alcohol abuse and prevention programs.

TurnAround skit -- a drug abuse awareness skit to the song, "Turnaround"

Wall of Fame -- positive affirmations about roommates and friends displayed on the big wall in our dining hall!
