Government Information

Introduction to Government Information at Musselman Library

Musselman Library provides access to a range of government information, both in print and electronic. Many print items can be accessed via our library catalog. Government documents are located in various locations throughout the library, including the Reading Room, the general collection in the stacks, and also in our designated government documents collection on the library’s main floor. Increasingly government information has become available electronically. Links can be found to a wide range of government departments, agencies and related websites below, and links to specific resources can be found by searching the library catalog.

Musselman Library was designated as a selective federal depository in 1951. We "select" a percentage of government documents distributed by the Government Printing Office.

Items we receive cover a wide range of topics and may be available in a variety of formats, including print, microfiche, cd-rom and electronic (via the internet). Please contact the Reference Desk for assistance in searching for and locating government documents.
