American Periodicals Series Online FULL-TEXT CONTENT
American Periodicals Series Online contains page images of more than 1,100 historic American magazines, journals, and newspapers. These resources illuminate the development of American culture, politics, and society across some 150 years. Articles can be searched by author, source, and words in the complete text. The collection is arranged in three series: 1741-1800, the period of transition from British colony to emerging nation; 1800-1850, pre-Civil War and the era of debate over slavery; and 1850-1900, Civil War and Reconstruction. Magazines of these periods cover the literature, science, religion, arts, and history of the time.

Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries is an important source for reviews of academic books, electronic media, and Internet resources of interest to those in higher education. Bluffton faculty/staff and students can browse issues and search reviews without logging in as a Choice member (and print, email, or download). The member login is necessary to benefit from any of the personalized features, including saving lists of reviews and developing a profile. Choice is a publishing unit of the Association of College & Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association.

Literature Resource Center FULL-TEXT CONTENT
The Literature Resource Center (LRC) provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from all time periods and literary disciplines. Included are writers in the areas of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, history, journalism and more. Content is derived from over 400 reference sources; more than 360 scholarly journals and literary magazines; excerpts from scholarly monographs, literary correspondence and diaries; book reviews; multimedia; and selected websites. Among the reference sources are Contemporary Authors, Contemporary Literary Criticism, Dictionary of Literary Biography and Merriam-Websterís Encyclopedia of Literature.
