However, in the Literature Resource Center you will have the advantage of a greater range of resources. The Literature Resource Center (LRC) provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from all time periods and literary disciplines. Included are writers in the areas of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, history, journalism and more. Full-text access to Contemporary Literary Criticism (selected fulltext criticism of numerous authors and works) and to the Dictionary of Literary Biography (biocritical essays on authors and their works, written by academic scholars) is also included. In the First Person    FULL-TEXT CONTENT 

In the First Person is an index to English language personal narratives, including letters, diaries, memoirs, autobiographies, and oral histories from archives and repositories around the world. It allows for keyword or in-depth field searching; the results link to full text and also provide pointers to audio and video files. This is a free database that can be used to find primary source materials available free on the web. Some content may link to subscription databases, including Women and Social Movements in the United States, part of the Musselman Library database collection. Updated regularly

The Literature Resource Center (LRC) provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from all time periods and literary disciplines. Included are writers in the areas of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, history, journalism and more. Content is derived from over 400 reference sources; more than 360 scholarly journals and literary magazines; excerpts from scholarly monographs, literary correspondence and diaries; book reviews; multimedia; and selected websites. Among the reference sources are Contemporary Authors, Contemporary Literary Criticism, Dictionary of Literary Biography and Merriam-Webster’s Encyclopedia of Literature.
