LIBRARY TO HOST AUTHOR PROGRAM SEPTEMBER 27
Musselman Library will host a program and reception on September 27, 2007, honoring Larry George, Pathways Associate Professor of African American Biblical Faith & History at Bluffton University. Professor George is a contributing author for the book True to Our Native Land: an African American New Testament Commentary. Refreshments and conversation will begin at 3:45 with a program following at 4:00 p.m. in the library's Reading Room. This program is approved for Arts & Lecture credit. OHIO THEOLOGICAL SCHOOLS ARE NEWEST OPAL/OHIOLINK MEMBERS
Students, faculty and staff now have access to one of the top ten largest theological collections in the United States from the Theological Consortium of Greater Columbus (TCGC). This access is possible because TCGC members, Methodist Theological School in Ohio, Pontifical College Josephinum and Trinity Lutheran Seminary, have recently joined OPAL and OhioLINK. Together, the TCGC members contribute 360,000 theological books and other library materials to the pool of materials available through the OPAL and OHIOLINK systems. Posted 6 Aug 2007.
SUMMER OF CHANGES
Musselman Library is a place of change this summer! The Curriculum Resource Center is moving to our fourth floor, new computers will be arriving in a few weeks, and books and periodicals are finding new homes on the main floor. ENGLISH DEPARTMENT'S INSPIRATION POINT
The English department has published a special issue of their Inspiration Point literary journal with poetry and essays on grief, following the March 2 bus accident. Posted Wed 9 May 2007.
MAY DAY OPEN HOUSE
Musselman Library will host an open house for campus visitors on Saturday, May 5, with refreshments starting at 2:00 p.m. Library staff will be on hand to offer resource demonstrations, and various exhibits are on display. Congratulations to our graduates! Posted Mon 30 Apr 2007.

Eight-millionth article added to OhioLINK’s Electronic Journal Center OhioLINK reported recently that it added the eight millionth scholarly research article to its Electronic Journal Center. According to the news item, "The EJC provides students, faculty and staff at participating OhioLINK institutions with instantaneous online access to more than 7,100 journals from 101 publishers." The EJC is just one of hundreds of online resources available to Bluffton students, faculty, and staff through our membership in OhioLINK. Posted Fri 30 Mar 2007
