Because of the increasing amount of leisure time discovered by Americans, career opportunities in recreation management have expanded. Career options include work in such areas as church recreation, recreation in business and industry, hospitals, health care centers, camps, resorts, cruise ships, youth organizations and more. This major requires two internship experiences.
