|Margaret Macdonald's influence is evident in this room with the gesso panels, the fireplace surround with painted or stencilled roses, and the pale, carpet with sensuous designs.|
|The furniture was built by modern furniture craftsmen, based on other furniture designed by Mackintosh. The sideboard design, however, was part of the original competition portfolio.|
