1998-2000

Dramatic building for the headquarters of the Christian Democratic Union

This building is located in a very prominent place, the Tiergarten triangle, near the area where many embassies are located. it structure is unique; as Imhof/Krempel explain, "it consists of a glass hall inside of which there is a solid building erected on a lens-like layout. The inner building has the shape of a turned-over hull and protrudes above the glass building which is used as a winter garden on two floors" (131).
