Consider the possibilities a major in foods and nutrition has to offer.

 

 

The Bluffton Foods and Nutrition program offers three emphases:

Dietetics: Dietitians are the clinical nutrition expert. Working with clientèle in medical care facilities, community health settings, and consumer education programs.  Dietitians deliver medical nutrition therapy.

Consumer Services: Apply knowledge about foods, food ingredients, preparation, selection, nutrition, and the needs of the individuals and groups to a variety of consumers in todays society. 

Wellness: Promotes health and wellbeing with a particular emphasis on nutrition in a variety of non-clinical settings.   Wellness works with people, families, and communities to enhance their quality of life.  Wellness promotes the physical, emotional, social, spiritual health in settings of government, health care, corporate, and commerical health centers.
