American Dietetic Association Student Membership
The American Dietetic Association is the nation’s largest professional organization of food and nutrition professionals. Its mission is to promote optimal nutrition and well being for all people by advocating for our members. There are nearly 70,000 members.
The Bluffton University faculty are involved in numerous professional activities, including the American Dietetic Association. Students are strongly advised to become student members to begin to become more familiar with the profession. Bluffton University dietetics students regularly attend state and national conferences, and a student discount is available for members. Student members also receive monthly The Journal of the American Dietetic Association, ADA Times, and other publications.
