English and spanish teaching licensures

Teaching licensure is available to teach English (Integrated Language Arts) or Spanish.

Students who wish to teach adolescent/young adult (7-12) in Integrated Language Arts or multi-age (pre-k-12) Spanish must complete requirements for an English or Spanish major and education courses.

Students looking to teach in the middle school may select language arts as one of the two required areas of concentration.
