The experience you are about to begin is an investment in your future. It is a once in a lifetime decision that only you can make based on many factors. There are times when you can’t place a price tag on the intangible learning opportunities we offer. Bluffton prides itself in offering a high quality educational experience. Bluffton students are challenged to consider values such as respect and integrity. Most importantly, however, they grow academically, spiritually and graduate with an understanding of what it means to live with Christian values in a global society.
There are many opportunities available to assist you in planning for the investment you are about to make. Bluffton offers the following merit-based scholarships:
Want to take the ACT one more time to try for a larger scholarship?
You may take the test on Bluffton’s campus for $27.50 and get your scores that same day. The scores are valid only for Bluffton University and its scholarship programs. The test is offered on March 8, May 10, June 7, July 12 and Aug. 19. Be sure to register at least one week prior to the test date of your choice.

What if you don't qualify for a merit-based scholarship?
We have additional opportunities:

A need-based grant of $3,000 (up to full tuition) is awarded to up to 10 students from an
under-represented ethnicity. Apply for the Community Enrichment Grant today.

A $4,500 Leadership Service Grant is offered to students who show promise to contribute to our campus in the areas of leadership and service.

Any scholarship provided by a Christian church is increased, dollar for dollar up to $1,000 and 25 percent after that, through the Church Matching Grant.

Outstanding artists and musicians looking to major in visual art or music are awarded $1,000 scholarships based on a portfolio or audition.

Next Steps...

- Financial aid award letters are sent to all admitted students who have filed the FAFSA.
- Start looking at different options such as student loans and other outside scholarships to help with costs.
Note: Outside scholarships will not take away from Bluffton merit-based scholarships. |
