University Event Complex

Assistant Director of the University Event Complex

Responsible for working with the building staff to manage the functional areas of the facilities including building management, student employee training, scheduled and special event support, summer conference programs, campus activities programming and student organization support services. Responsibilities include coordination of evening and weekend operation of the complex. This is a full time, 12-month, exempt position.

The University Event Complex includes Marbeck Center (student union), the newly opened Sommer Center (health & fitness education) and Founders Hall (auditorium & gymnasium).

The successful candidate will be self–motivated and possess strong communication skills, organizational ability and knowledge of relevant audio/visual technologies. Master's degree in student development or related field and experience preferred. A bachelor's degree is required.
