Faculty Position in Social Work/Director of Social Work Program

Full-time; Tenure-track; Rank dependent on qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: MSW degree from an accredited social work program and minimum of two years of practice experience is required. Ph.D. preferred. Eligibility for Ohio's practice license at Licensed Independent Social Worker level. Effective teaching and administrative skills and experience. International experience is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct growing traditional and evening undergraduate social work program with a collaborative leadership style (full position description available to applicants before interview). Teach a range of social work courses. Other duties include academic advising and serving on institutional committees. Scholarship is supported and service activities with community/church are encouraged.

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with education and experience within the university pay scale.

APPOINTMENT: Fall semester 2014.
