Faculty position in social work

Assistant professor and field director for undergraduate social work program

Full-time, tenure-track position

QUALIFICATIONS:
MSW degree from an accredited social work program and minimum of two years of practice experience is required.  Ph.D. or ABD preferred. Should have or be eligible for Ohio’s practice license at Licensed Independent Social Worker level.  Demonstrate effective teaching skills and experience. Doctorate required for tenure-track.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Teach a range of social work classes such as Introduction to Social Work, Interviewing Skills & Theory, Micro and Mezzo-practice.  Coordinate field work including site visits with students during their field placements. Participate in regular department activities.

COMPENSATION: 
Commensurate with education and experience within the university pay scale.

Fall 2023
