- Certified Public Accountant - Accounting majors need to have completed 150 semester hours of college level courses to sit for the Ohio CPA examination. Bluffton offers all the courses needed to sit for the CPA exam. Requirements for the exam can be found by contacting the Ohio Society of CPAs.
- Certified Managerial Accountant - Accounting majors may also be interested in the role of management accountants and finance professionals working inside organizations. The Institute of Management Accountants provides certification as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
- Graduate studies - Recent accounting graduates have received full graduate assistantship funding to pursue their masters in accounting degree at various universities including The Ohio State University, Bowling Green State University, Miami University and The University of Toledo.
- Employment - Accounting graduates from Bluffton are employed as CPAs, CMAs, financial analysts, auditors and practicing independent accountants.
