Practicum Student Qualifications

In order for students to be accepted into the practicum experience, they must:

• have Junior or Senior class status
• have declared their major in Psychology
• have completed twenty semester hours of psychology courses
• agree to conform to the Ethical Principles of the American Psychological Association, Bluffton College’s guidelines for students in a practicum placement, and the practicum site's guidelines for appropriate activity for a practicum student

Students who want to enroll for the practicum experience will need to obtain the permission of the instructor at least two weeks prior to registration for the term in which the student plans to complete the practicum.
